maths:
In maths we have been learning our division and where the number would be placed on the simble, Also what the the number is called (dividend, divisor and the quotient.) And what the they mean.
dividend:Number being divided up.
divisor:number of groups splitting into.
quotient:How many in each group.
( the example: 6÷2=3      simble:ㄏ
                      div.divi.qu.)



reading:
I have been reading Angles next door.  This week in reading has been normal and  fun with the rotation. In the weekly spelling I like how its smaller.

writing:
In writing speeches it has been fun because I feel like that I can do well. I like us doing heaps of time on it. I have done speeches before and this is my second favourite.

writing/speech:

In speech I have finished my research and done my 123 planning also the introduction and the reiteration it was hard work getting to those stages, I find speech easy once you get started, I have been working hard for speech and it really helps once you know what your paragraphs/123. The subject I am on I feel really pumped, until I start to create my final speech I will be ready for it!!.

Homework:

At home I have been writing a story (A boy follows Paris) I am putting all my efert into it and find it in some parts hard and others not to hard. I have been practicing spelling a little and reading my books I only have two done but at least I have started

Reading:

In reading we have been finding out what the main part of the book/journal and what you think is going to happen by just looking at the pictures and the title.

maths:
In maths I have been doing just fine lately, I find maths better this year than last years maths, we've been learning how to show a number problem by using words, that was fun.

reading:
 having the tasks written on the board is a big help for me. And the book challenge helps me by making me read more and every night I grab my book I am reading and read for a while.

writing:
At first for speeches I had trouble with a topic cause I did not feel good about the topic so I changed and did what I love ( dance) and now I feel great.

spelling:

I've been practicing and practicing my spelling so much since I have moved up today now I am up to my goal.

reading:

this week in reading I've  have been working but I need to work faster at my work because I have some work to finish, but lately it has been normal. our rotation has been fine and our .

in spelling I have been practicing and practicing at home I hope that I move up and get on my goal I mean I don't have to but I want to reach in a week and be awesome to reach it.  

writing:

in writing we have been researching our speech topics and that is quite fun. I was not a fan of us having to choose one of the topics only.😕🍉(:

math:

This week in maths we have been learning about 360 turns and 90 turns as well also some other they confusing me because I got a bad example with skateboards and I know nothing about skateboards i'm more a dancing person. I found it hard but not so hard, I still got to work on lots more of the turns and 360 skateboarding stuff

writing:
I love speeches cause I like hearing what other people say about what they think and how I can make them change their minds. Out of the 11 speech topic I had lots of trouble wandering about witch one I should pick, until finally I chose the one I thought was the best and that was number 9 .The government should do more to stop smoking.

reading:
reading this week has just been same old same old and I think the group I am in is just right but some stage I will move back where was before but at the moment I will just stay where I am.

how am I going in spelling?

In spelling I have moved up to my goal (L) I want to hopefully pass my goal today because I want to show I can do more! since it is nearly the end of this term I felt a little bit nervous to do my spelling test, I think if i take a deep breath in maybe I could remember my practicing and do the best. Once I had finished my spelling test I felt fine and relaxed I thought it was better than nothing.

How do i feel in reading?

In reading lately I have moved groups now I feel that the group I am in is fine. I need to improve next term my reading skills like understanding the bit that I just red. I think reading is going so well that I just need to work those little bits.

how is math?

In maths it has been like the other weeks. I feel I need to work on next term my times tables and learnt most of them. I think I am so close on completing my basic facts.In my mathletics time I have got my fractions completed and have way on my basic facts for all of the activity's, mostly every night I will go on to mathletics.

Integrity games

at integrity games on a Friday a scorching hot day I was at home feeling sick and my group at school had to not do the games, while I was sick I thought that maybe making up a new game because our old one failed, so anyway as got better and went back to school I heard that we are doing our game on next Friday and when finally that one day came, Me and my group start to agree what I have created and they loved it, so we decided to do my game. After lunch we set up our game we had room 10 to teach. As our great game went on we thought that our game went the best we could ever imagine:).

hiking

hiking was the most fun but tiring part of this term. As soon as I started I took a big deep breath and said to myself  "are we there yet?". I got hot and my legs got tiered and I felt I needed to melt. The annoying sun shot me as I slowley shifted my legs in front of each other. The stones under my bothered feet poked me as I was following the trail. I pushed myself to get further and further. I am starting to shake and get more unfocused on the way. As I heard people chat, I clumsily tripped when my eyelids clashed down like bricks pushing my lids straight down - lower and lower they go. My drooping bag pulls back when all of those hills get steep and frustrating.

room 10:

In room 10 we have been teaching the little kids to do an integrity game. First we have to get into a group of three and then try to make up a game and once we finish then type it on to a laptop and print it out. On the last week we try it out and then teach room 1 and 2. Ours was misquote tag. My group didn't do it until Friday at golden time we had to do our game and at the end of our game we thought that it was awesome and we really did rock it.

room 8:

In room 8 we have been learning about

• tempo
• pitch
• dynamics

tempo is fast and slow.
pitch high and low.
dynamics is loud and soft.
we had to listen to music and then we had find out what genre the song would be that was really fun and I really liked it.

room 9:

Finally in room 9 we are learning about the treaty Waitangi and all mostly about new Zealand. On week 7 we went on a walk to the redoubt Alexander redoubt.when we went for our walk a few weeks later we went for another walk with the hole team and with a group we had to do a video around the redoubt or the Alexander redoubt or around the gift shop and show information about that area or what was there a long long time ago.

In class:

 How do I feel This year  about this year in class?
In class it is heaps different than last year it's more confusing in reading easier in maths and just fine in writing. It is a big change this year and the class sound of the week words are very hard and confusing and then in spelling a-z  is a little bit fun cause on Friday I missed a list witch in the end i got saved. I think we have made the moving around (that was a problem).Also I like the must do can do set up.I personally think that in class I love mathletics.

reading:

In reading i have changed groups lately and it is working out for me and the hole group thing that we do with Mrs Bryant is it fun and also the group that i am in is way much more helpful and I feel I am in the right group.The activity's that we are  working on is making me feel conformable.

maths:

In math I have to say that last year I hated math but this room 8 has changed that for me and so I love math this year and am very glad.In my homework book I have been working through my maths this week.in mathletics I have won a bronze.

writing:

When we are doing slides I think I type better than writing on a piece of paper. I like doing similes and metaphors.
