Term 2 Inquiry Art

In Term 2, Room 7 have been learning about the Moon and it's relationship with the Earth and the Sun. Here is our colourful art we created using pastels.

Welcome Paige

Welcome to Room 7 Paige. Paige is a Year 4 student. Paige is an enthusiastic, diligent and helpful student. She shows caring and kindness to others and completes learning tasks efficiently. 

Tawa Team Raglan Beach Trip

Tawa Team had a wonderful day trip to Raglan beach. Paige and her group completed the beach relay and had a lot of fun. Paige used the key competency of Participating and Contributing by accepting responsibility as an individual and as a group member. She also demonstrated the competency of Relating to Others when she worked cooperatively with her group and was considerate of their thoughts and feelings.

Bird shelter

This is the plan and model that I made for a bird shelter.  My model does not match the shape of my plan because I didn't have the wood I needed to make it up high off the ground.
My shelter has lots of things for the bird to play with so it doesn't get bored.  I am proud of my work.
Then I took my model home and made it even better!  Here is a photo of my finished model;

The latin name for a bee is called a apis.A bee is an insect it is a invertebrate.

Habitat  
Bess live in hives on farms and were heaps of flowers are to.
Bees live on branches on tall trees (sometimes)
They live in  zoos like hamilton zoo.

Bees have black and yellow stripes to warn other predators to know that they are poisonous.they two antennas that hold the flower down so it cant tip over. bees have wings to fly with.  

dynamics 
Bees can waggle dance to communicate to each other. They can weight 80 miller grams.
The Queen bee lays two hundred eggs per day. They can go two each flower  and did you know that they fly to 2 million flowers per day.

Take good care  of bees and respect them and eat the honey from bees.
