Maths:
in maths I am still working on division and again I still do not now how to get on the ticks side and that really annoys me in a way because I should now it by now. I love that we are timing by tens,hundreds and thousands I really like doing I because it is not to hard and not to easy.
reading:
in reading the rotations are going well. In book talk I have finally got a book to share that I love because I have had trouble finding books that I really like but I can't find those types of books, Once I found this book I was not hooked in at the start so I thought oh well it is just another book that I have to read just to get on my book challenge but that was the only negative not having a good hook. Anyway I read more and more and I really liked it.
Production:
I have a good feeling with this year production the only thing I am not going to like is that all I am doing is sitting doing legs folded with huge head gear with no microphone and a big ordinance I now there is not enough microphones for us but really what if I am not loud enough.

17 th reflection
17 TH REFLECTION
maths...
the work sheet we got given in the golden lions I got all done and I so happy about that because it was basically just doing my ten times table and I now all of my ten times tables. the trick is just to add a zero add two zeros and more then it came to dividing and that was okay I got it in a click. In mathletics apparently I got a silver with out knowing I did not realize until I looked at my medals and I saw I got a silver and I want to now what the date was when I got it.

In book talk I like how we have colors. The rotations and every thing else is fine. and I am so happy that we are doing plays.
Writing...
we have been doing response to text and I am not that sure on what that is. It was really hard when we had to do a class thing on the lap top I've always found that time and it gets really messy.

reflection
Reflection...
MATHS...
In maths we have been doing more work on division. Like the last reflection I said I need to work on the things that I am not sure on. in mathletics I have been doing it and next weeks goal is to get a silver or bronze.
READING...
I love the knew idea on doing famous people for proof reading and it is so amazing that Pocahontas is actually real!! I thought it was just a cartoon person but no! as well as plays we have been doing them. I love plays they are so cool I love the expression in it and how sometimes we get to choose the character in them.
INQUIRY...
In inquiry static images. when I first heard those two words I knew what images meant ...pictures but static??? I kept thinking some people thought it was the electricity, but it was not that, until somebody thought still not moving and that was it. Then we thought about so it means posters and stickers and magazine pictures. and more...

reflect on this week
REFLECTION PRESENTS...
MaD liBs:
First we had play the game a couple of times to get the idea of when we make our OWN mad libs, before this happens we did one the teacher and the story that we made together was so funny! If you don't what mad libs is then let me tell you... Mad libs is a game either on a computer or Ipad or book, then you have to choose a story you want to play then it will give you a hole lot of things that ask you either a noun a adjective a adverb and part of the body and so on their were heaps more.Then after that step wait for it all the words you chose get put in this story and sometimes it doesn't make sense or it will just make you L.O.L! so then we made our own I am excited to see what some people have made!.
GYM SPORTS HIP HOP:
We came second place and that was interesting because I was competing against the girls who are in my hip hop team at imperious dance! which was amazing. Hip hop is literary my life I love so so much and it actually helps your maths!!
WITH ROOM THREE:
In room three we had to do some art the teacher mixes too things into one. We had to help our buddies and make a ladder out of ice block sticks and stick them in a shape of a ladder. Then trace stars for Matiriki and paint them gold or silver or white. and cut a picture out of us reaching for the stars and glue it on with PVA. and then we watched a move.

rotations
room 8...
In room 8 we have been doing music and first we had to choose a song we chose a song that Mr Gemmell did not improve so we changed the lyrics. We practiced a couple of times and then this week, week 10 on Friday we get to share to the school. I like music and my favorite instrument is the bass even though I am doing singing in the band I still like the bass piano thing. I think having rotations is a great idea.
room 9...
I use too hate gym witch sometimes I do now. I still practice my gym (and fail) even though I am not actually doing it on the day because I paid for just hip hop. Last year with gym I did not like not even a bit, I still would do dance for life and not do it. But anyway that was all negative sorry, heres some positive... I love the valt though that is my favourite because we get to jump really high and lagh it off if you made a mistake!!! I might get it wrong sometimes but I just laughed it off.
room 10...
In room 10 we have been doing ball games. In ball games we did soccer and that is when I started to enjoy soccer I play at home now. Then we did netball i did that last year I am sick of now.

Reflection week 9
Maths:
In maths I have been working on the mat because I am getting an idea but it is a hard job losing the idea and get it lose it and so on. I am better each time I am on the mat.
spelling:
In spelling I have been on list N for a long, long ,long time I am ready to move off it, And that really sucks that I am still on it but this week I am hoping to get off it. I am already on my spelling goal I just want to pass it!!

The junior Production was so cute funny and amazing they were so good I mean like when I was young we were okay but they rocked the stage with it .
writing:
In speeches I was the very first person to share I was nervous and it was hard work but after I did it I just had to relax and watch every one else. Also there is very hard competition!

REFLECTION on FRIDAY
MATHS:
This week in maths with division has been good but I need more help and work on it. I am getting an idea of what it is but, I feel I need to work on it more and more. I feel better when I am with the teacher because it helps me better. I know I am not the only one that is not a huge fan on division and so that is fine for me I just think that I need to work more on it and take my time to figure out how I do it what I need to spend time on and more...
READING:
In reading I have been on a roll for my slope handwriting and there is always a point where I can fill in the mistakes and that always helps me. I feel that with weekly spelling there is a problem towards the size of the sheets and I liked it when the weekly spelling sheet should was smaller because the bigger sheets we sticking out of books and I am not the only one that the sheet sticks out on.
SPEECHES:
I have finally finished my speech and put them on my cards I have been practicing it over and over. I can even say my intro with out looking.I had gotten a certificate in the past and it was when I was young. The speeches has been fun and I can't wait until Monday to share.

my reflection
In maths it has been confusing at some times and then I get it since we have been doing more division it helps more for me because I get something every time I do it. I have been using the cheat sheet if I don't know the answer to the equation to help my times table also.
reading:
In reading this week it has been normal but the one thing I NEED TO READ MORE!!!!!( I am starting to). I am reading a book right now called the GREAT chocoplot and I am really enjoying it. At the library today I got a new book just to back me up if I don't have my other book.
writing:
In speeches I have done are few changes through the typing then saw Mrs Bryant and she said to make a few tweaks so I did that night at home and I thought the changes I made were right I needed to do that.
Inquiry:
I have been doing a little bit on my slide I have done facts, trip,eggs,and then I am doing would you? example:If you loved chickens you would just let them be.

writing:
I love how we have had more time on our speeches and I have done my typing on the laptop and all I need to do know is put in some of my experience in my topic, my mum has gave me some ideas towards my experience. At first I was okay with my speech but now I am feeling strong about it.
maths:
When I herd we were doing division I was so scared but when I watched that video quite a few times I get little ideas on what it is. It was a shock when I watched the long division, It looked really hard but I thought to myself I don't need to be worried because I will probably figure it out like family of facts.
reading:
reading has been like mostly every other week. the books I am
reading is just right for me the weekly spelling I am getting faster at and it is getting funner if that is a word. For the book challenge I thought to myself I need to do more, so I am reading The midnight panda every night. Yeah so that has been all for reading.

dividend:Number being divided up.
divisor:number of groups splitting into.
quotient:How many in each group.

I have been reading Angles next door. This week in reading has been normal and fun with the rotation. In the weekly spelling I like how its smaller.

In writing speeches it has been fun because I feel like that I can do well. I like us doing heaps of time on it. I have done speeches before and this is my second favourite.
